The shadow over Gotham is growing even darker. Prime Video has officially released the first full trailer and a brand-new poster for Season 2 of Batman: Caped Crusader, the acclaimed adult animated series that strips the Dark Knight down to his hard-boiled, 1940s detective roots.

The trailer drop confirms that all 10 episodes of the highly anticipated second season will launch simultaneously on Friday, July 31, 2026. Spearheaded by the legendary creative powerhouse trio of Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams, and Matt Reeves, the sophomore outing promises to double down on the show’s signature psychological dread and rich film noir aesthetics.
