English Dub Review: Classroom of the Elite “The wound is at her heart.”
Overview:
Horikita decides to use Paper Shuffle to settle matters with Kushida, and Ayanokoji finds himself caught in the middle.
Our Take:
Well unless I just totally missed it we didn’t find out who Ayanokoji is paired up with. But I am sure that will be told when it’s important. What is interesting is that Horikita is all in to take care of things with Kushida. She is using this test to maximize her chances as well. Kushida knows that Horikitia is smarter than her and needed a little more reassurance. So, Horikita had her brother acknowledge the bet as well and since we and Kushida know how he feels about her we can trust he will uphold it.
Kushida wanted one more detail added to the bet if she wins, she wants Ayanokoji expelled as well. Ayanokoji agreed to this but wanted to at least know what had happened in middle school for all of this to be an issue. I’ll be honest, once she told her story I was disappointed. I expected it to be a bigger deal than it was and it just didn’t seem worth all this trouble. But maybe there are some parts that were left out that will come out in the next few episodes.
