RWBY Chibi Season Two Start Date Announced
Took them long enough to announce something…
A recent trailer from Rooster Teeth has announced that RWBY Chibi Season two will stream on May 13th for RT First subscribers.
RWBY Chibi premieres May 13th for RT First members, everyone else has to wait until May 20th on Youtube.
Our Take
So far I’m quite excited, especially since Chibi is going to re-introduce the beloved android Penny back into the RWBY Universe but it shouldn’t be a surprise since Phyrra is also back and Chibi operates on the type of funny cartoon logic you’d see on Looney Tunes.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
