FOX announces Fall ’15 premier dates for ‘The Simpsons’, ‘Bob’s Burgers’, and ‘Family Guy’

FOX has officially announced the Fall premier dates of Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons, and Family Guy in what will be a single-night premier for all three animated series’. In years past, FOX has broken up the premier dates of Bob’s Burgers and past programming to premier in October, but that doesn’t seem to be the case this season.

Sunday, Sept. 27
7:30-8:00 PM BOB’S BURGERS (Season Premiere)
8:00-8:30 PM THE SIMPSONS (Season Premiere)
9:00-9:30 PM FAMILY GUY (Season Premiere)

I expect premier episodes of Bob’s Burgers to be rather sporadic until both the NFL and MLB finish up their postseasons, in which case FOX will also be premiering Seth MacFarlane’s newest animated creation, Bordertown set to kick-off in January.

The name of The Simpsons’ season premier episode is ”Every Man’s Dream”. This has been the episode causing all sorts of commotion as of late because in it Homer is diagnosed with narcolepsy (his reason for sleeping on the job), but instead of returning home with his prescription medication, he returns home drunk. He and Marge visit a marriage counselor and have a trial separation, during which Homer begins dating a twenty-something pharmacist.

Guest-stars for the episode include a potential new love-interest with Lena Dunham as Candace, Laura Ingraham as Therapist and Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet, and Allison Williams as Candace’s friends.
