Review: Mike Tyson Mysteries ”Is Magic Real?”
Spoilers Below
Mike heads on a mission to find out if magic was real. Mike’s a buyer, but the rest aren’t convinced. The crew heads out on said mission and decide to look for a leprechaun to prove magic is real. The guys head to a hotel and meet with the Old Wizard that sent in the mystery. They take the wizard to go play some cards, but Pigeon sends Mike’s daughter on a tryst with Robert Redford. Turns out that Redford only wanted good things for Yung Hee, but Mike wasn’t having it. The wizard loses a hand to what becomes a leprechaun that jacks everyone for cash and takes off.
The main premise of this week’s episode was quite a bit similar to the B-plot South Park did for the ‘Imagination Land’ trilogy, but South Park did it better. In any case, this week’s episode wasn’t all that great, and I really couldn’t find that many laughs except for maybe when Criss Angel got punched. Some of the dialogue just gets SO drab that I can barely stay awake for it, and the plot was just all over the place. Also, Marquess is boring the shit out of me, and Norm LITERALLY sounds like he was sleeping through his lines when he was recording this episode.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
