We told you guys months ago about Golan the Insatiable coming back soon when we did our interview with Nick Weidenfeld aka the Executive Producer of FOX ADHD. And although we were already made aware of a bunch of changes coming to the series, we weren’t expecting this! Golan the Insatiable has been announced for a Summer 2015 premier for FOX and we’ve got a bunch of changes on the way!

The original FOX ADHD series which aired Saturday Nights on FOX featured show creator Joshua Miller as the voice of Golan, Mary Mack as the voice of Dylan, with Maria Bamford as Dylan’s mom ”Carole”, Matt Silverstein as Dylan’s dad ”Richard”, and Rachel Butera as Dylan’s sister ”Alexis”.

Well…forget all that. We already told you that Dylan’s dad aka Richard Beekler is killed off, but aside from the characters starring Maria and Rachel, the entire cast has been completely redone. Rob Riggle (Daily Show, Step Brothers) now joins the cast as the new voice of Golan and Aubrey Plaza (Funny People) is your new Dylan. Ken Marino (Axe Cop), John DiMaggio (Futurama) and Nick Rutherford round out the cast, but as you can see overhaul is probably the operative word here.

The, I guess you could call it, rebooted Golan the Insatiable will premier on FOX on May 31st @ 9:30 pm ET/PT and will be upgraded from the quarter-hour episodes on FOX ADHD to now 30-minute run-times on Sunday Nights. The show is getting six episodes, but the best thing happening here is that if Golan does really well, FOX could certainly green-light a bunch of new cartoons and put them on Sunday Nights for the duration of the Summer, too.
