Anomalisa gets Blu-Ray Release Date
The Academy Award nominated animated feature from Starburns Industries is closing in on $5 million in box office receipts wit $4.6 million earned so far, but you can just as easily watch Anomalisa right now if you want to on iTunes…yep.
For those looking for a Blu-Ray release, as luck would have it that’s been announced as well for a June 7th release date.
Anomalisa is a 2015 American stop-motion comedy-drama film directed and produced by Charlie Kaufman and Duke Johnson, and written by Kaufman based on his 2005 play of the same name. It was released on December 30, 2015 by Paramount Pictures.[4] The film follows a lonely self-help author (voiced by David Thewlis) who perceives everyone as identical (Tom Noonan) until he meets a unique woman (Jennifer Jason Leigh) in a Cincinnati hotel.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
