English Dub Review: Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None “The Jack-of-All-Trades Fights With Everyone”
Overview (Spoilers Below):
Orun settles into his new role at the Night Sky Silver Rabbits.
Our Take:
It was a satisfying sight to see Orun’s life turning around, especially after what he had gone through with the so-called “Hero Party”. With him becoming an official member of the Night Sky Silver Rabbits, this could mean that his new adventure would be much easier now, right? Well, that may be true in some cases, but that doesn’t mean it would be smooth sailing from here on out. For starters, Orun’s promotion to Lieutenant has led him to join the guild’s Unit 1, which consists of Selma, Rain, Lucrecia, and Wilkes. However, his concern about letting them down could become his latest obstacle to overcome after learning about what happened to them during their encounter with the black dragon.
Another reason is Orun’s other childhood friend, Sion, who’s on her own quest to become as strong as him. Her adventure with her new party led her to investigate and kill the dragon slayer who may or may not allied themselves with the Church. Clearly, Sion holds a personal grudge against the Church due to her belief that its priests murdered Orun. However, unbeknownst to her, Orun is alive and well with his new party. So, it would be interesting to see how Sion would feel upon seeing that her childhood friend is not only alive, but is also the “Dragon Slayer” she’s assigned to murder. While not as exciting as the previous episodes, this one works well in introducing viewers to another part of Orun’s childhood in the form of Sion, who’s a lot nicer compared to that prick Oliver.
