English Dub Review: LINK CLICK “JAE”

A mysterious visitor from Bridon disrupts the photo studio’s peace. What has he come for?

Our Take

Picking up from the previous two episodes, “LINK CLICK” continues to raise plenty of questions while introducing Jae Lee and finally bringing Xia Fei to the photo studio. Jae’s brief appearance immediately makes him feel suspicious, while Xia Fei provides some fun interactions with Cheng Xiaoshi and Qiao Ling. The episode also gives us a better glimpse at some of the abilities and mysteries surrounding the characters, adding even more intrigue without giving away too much.

I especially enjoyed the character moments between Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang, as Cheng Xiaoshi is clearly beginning to notice that something is seriously bothering his best friend. Their conversation was both funny and surprisingly emotional, showing how much Cheng Xiaoshi genuinely wants Lu Guang to open up to him. Qiao Ling also gets some great moments, while Xia Fei’s presence adds another interesting dynamic to the group. At the same time, the episode continues dropping subtle hints about the villains and their motives, leaving plenty to speculate about.

Overall, this was another really enjoyable episode that balances character development, humor, and mystery without slowing down the larger story. Jae’s introduction was particularly intriguing, even if he barely gets any screen time despite the episode being named after him. With so many questions surrounding the characters and their motives, “LINK CLICK” once again manages to leave you wanting the next episode immediately.
