Triumph The Insult Comic Dog Visits Conan Podcast
Not since Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and a number of Colbert producers were arrested in 2022 for unlawful entrance in the Longworth House Office Building have we seen the longtime puppet hand character created by Robert Smigel, but that all changed earlier this week when Triumph returned to the limelight on Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend podcast on SiriusXM.
During the course of the podcast, Conan and Robert reminisce about all sorts of topics, not the least of which is the genesis of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog which started as a Conan bit until the character took on a life of it’s own in decades to come. Watch clips below of conversation between the two and hopefully 2024 will be a big year for Triumph!

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
