Joe Rogan’s Favorite Show “South Park” Continues To Show Love For Seattle In It’s Own Way
South Park co-creator Trey Parker owns a home in Seattle, Washington. So, it should come as to no surprise that the long running Comedy Central animated series continues to poke fun at the city that gave us the Legion of Boom. Multiple episodes have featured the Seattle Seahawks, Starbucks, Nintendo, Bill Gates, and everything in between that almost turns the little Colorado town into a second Seattle.
If you need more proof, look no further than the episode “Christmas Snow” that featured a scene where the residents of Seattle are dressed barefoot and looking for medicinal cocaine. Seattle-based Redditors have fanned the flames noting how on point the scene is though lament at the lack of black hoodies and flannel, but for the most part, the city which celebrates it’s national holiday on December 21st gets the reticle before the show lets out for it’s very good 23rd season. So good, in fact, that one Joe Rogan has named the series his favorite and we called it the best of the decade.
“South Park,” created by comic geniuses Trey Parker and Matt Stone, features the breathtakingly irreverent and ruthlessly funny misadventures of four foul-mouthed, troublemaking young boys in a small town nestled in the Colorado Rockies. “South Park’s” new episodes bring up-to-the-minute news and pop culture icons (including Al Gore, J. Lo, Kanye West, Oprah, Sir Elton John, Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and P. Diddy) to the town of South Park for social commentary and good old-fashioned ridicule. Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are Executive Producers, along with Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bill Hader, Bruce Howell and Vernon Chatman are Producers.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
