Our Take(Spoilers):

Last week we didn’t get an episode, and that had me pretty sad. But with how this is going, I’m a little sad anyway, and this time I got two episodes. What I’m upset about is how Poem and Sakuradaimon’s relationship is currently going. Akina wants to throw a prom, and Kaouru uses his power with the disciplinary committee to make the event less than what was suggested.

Sakuradaimon is a part of that committee, and therefore he has to enforce these rules. This created quite the conflict between him and Poem. They spend most of these two episodes not talking to each other, and Poem goes out of her way to ignore Sakuradaimon. I was excited that these two got together before the final episode of the season, but because of this turn of events, they might as well not be together.

The last episode will have a fair bit to make up in order to save the season from my point of view. It’s been a fun show, and I enjoy the side couple teasing we’ve gotten in the last couple of episodes, but it is frustrating that the main couple feels like they’re back at square one.

Kaoru hasn’t figured out that Nadeshiko is the woman he’s been looking for. She is trying to get Kaoru to ease up on his relentless hating of the prom event. I think she figures that if she can get Kaoru to agree to a date at the prom, then he will relax a bit when it comes to the event. So far, that hasn’t been the case, but Kaoru figuring out that Nadeshiko is his mystery lady has become the part of this show I’m most hyped for.

Something I wasn’t hyped for but got hyped once it happened was a rap battle between Poem’s dad and Sakuradaimon. They didn’t dub the lyrics that were used, and while that was disappointing, I can understand why they didn’t. Either way, it was awesome to see these guys battle it out, even though neither of them realizes that their children are dating. Dating for now, I should say… I really hope the final episode does more for Poem and Sakuradaimon because I think they’re both being stupid.
