Back to the Future: ‘Futurama’ Season 14 Returns to Weekly Schedule

The Planet Express crew is headed back to the small screen, and this time, they’re staying for a while. Hulu and Disney+ have announced that Futurama Season 14 will premiere on Monday, August 3, 2026.

For nearly 30 years, Futurama has been a staple of episodic television. However, Season 13 marked a major departure when Hulu released the entire batch of episodes at once. While this was great for a weekend marathon, critics and fans noted that it prevented the show from building the week-to-week momentum and community discussion that typically follows a new release.

By reverting to a weekly format, Hulu ensures that Futurama remains a part of the cultural zeitgeist throughout the entire summer and into the fall.
