Creators Samson Cornette and artist Daniel Nation have premiered their exclusive adult animated horror-comedy, Meat the Carvers Halloween Special, now streaming on Kings of Horror’s YouTube channel. This frightfully funny show debuted on Saturday, October 25th at 9:30 pm EDT as the lead-in to Rhonda Shear’s ‘Up All Night Boo Bash’ revival and is available to watch now!
The special boasts a dream-team cast of genre legends, featuring the voices of Rhonda Shear (host of USA’s Up All Night), Diana Prince (Darcy the Mail Girl from Shudder’s Joe Bob’s Last Drive-In), and Felissa Rose (star of horror classics Sleepaway Camp and Terrifier 2). Their collective star power and comedic timing are set to elevate this animated mayhem to must-watch status.
Meat the Carvers co-creator Samson Cornette takes on multiple roles as the show’s writer and primary voice actor for many characters, while also producing and composing original music for Ashes of Seraphim, responsible for much of the show’s original music. Nation handles character design, artwork, and animation direction, while producer Paul Coffey assists with planning shots and sound effects.
“We wanted to make something that was both a loving nod to the horror films we grew up on, taking inspiration from adult-oriented animation as well as the shows The Munsters and The Addams Family, and give it a more modern twist,” said co-creator Daniel Nation.
