Meta Horizon Worlds’ The Soapstone Comedy Club Is Starting To Get Some Legit Stand-Up Comics
Remember a few years ago when people were teasing Mark Zuckerberg’s Metaverse claiming it was dead? Welp, don’t look now, because Meta Horizon Worldsis really breaking through and the rise of unscripted animated content is really starting to shine through. From musical competitions to soap operas and more, I think a lot of the so-called “experts” are probably eating a nice slice of shoe at the moment.
Enter The Soapstone Comedy Club, a Meta Horizon Worlds-exclusive VR experience that allows everyone to enjoy a stand-up comedy experience without having to go to the real clubs. Already counting upwards of 13,000 weekly visitors, The Soapstone has already featured acts like Jay Pharoah but it looks like the star value is going to increase even more-so over the next several weeks with announcements that the likes of Pete Holmes, Ron Funches, Natasha Leggero, and others are all on tap over the next several months.
Thursday Nights @ 5pm PST The Soapstone Comedy Club hosts new comedians on a weekly basis but there have also been open calls for the likes of musicians, impressionists, and jugglers.
