Adult Swim and Movember Team Up for Sci-Fi ‘Body Stachers’ Animated Short Starring Rick and Morty
Adult Swim has officially joined forces with global men’s health charity Movember for a brand-new animated short featuring everyone’s favorite dimension-hopping duo, Rick and Morty.
Premiering today, Tuesday, October 6th, the exclusive collaboration aims to build momentum and drive awareness ahead of Movember’s flagship annual fall campaign, which advocates for suicide prevention, prostate cancer research, and testicular cancer education.
‘Body Stachers’ Take Over Multiverse Facial Hair
The newly released clip features official replacement voice actors Ian Cardoni (Rick Sanchez) and Harry Belden (Morty Smith) showing off a pair of surprisingly bushy, never-before-seen mustaches. After vowing to grow out their facial hair for the cause, the duo quickly discovers a sci-fi twist: they haven’t actually grown real mustaches, but have instead fallen under the hypnotic spell of alien “body stachers”—mutant parasitic mustaches.
Despite the parasitic infestation, the stachers arrive just in time to kick off Movember’s biggest awareness push of the year.
Driving Awareness for Men’s Health
Since launching in 2003, Movember has grown into a leading global 501(c)(3) movement, funding groundbreaking research and innovative mental health programs designed to help men live healthier, longer lives.
The annual November campaign encourages participants worldwide to grow a mustache, move for mental health, or host events to spark vital conversations around men’s physical and psychological well-being.
