Our Take
This time around, we’ve now reached Part 2 of the Outdoor Adventure Club’s Izu trip, the Outdoor Adventure Club continues to explore the region’s Geo spots, indulging in Shimarin Dango ice-cream and rejuvenating hot springs. Ms. Toba’s unexpected encounter with beer sales adds a humorous twist to the campfire setting, complemented by Spanish ajillo and pasta cooked over the bonfire.
As the evening unfolds, Mini Inuko keeps the atmosphere light with her playful antics, while everyone enjoys delicious soup-based Spanish ajillo and bonfire-cooked pasta. Later, they settle in to watch “A Zombie’s Life,” much to Nadeshiko’s surprise and fear. Despite her initial fright, Nadeshiko finds herself taking on a caretaker role for Rin, who grows sleepy during their adventure but ultimately enjoys a relaxing soak in the hot spring after some solo exploration, leading to a lighthearted and funny conclusion.
Overall, this episode offers another delightful adventure, reminiscent of the group’s previous camping trips. It provides a rare opportunity for Ena and Nadeshiko to bond, revealing Ena’s aspirations and adding depth to her character. The exploration of the Izu Islands’ offerings adds an educational element to the episode, highlighting the real-world locations featured in the series. With two episodes left, I’m curious to see where this goes next.
