English Dub Review: The Faraway Paladin The Lord of the Rust Mountains “The Land of Flowers”

Overview:

Will’s crew saves Dine, an elf, from a hydra’s attack. Dine tells them that the dragon’s miasma has tainted her homeland of Lothdor and sickened its people, so Will decides to go there and heal them.

Our Take:

There might be some love going around between Menel and Dine, the elf that they saved last time. I’m not going to hold my breath because this doesn’t seem like the series to have romance and Menel seemed like the last person to get romantically involved with anyone but one can hope. Either way Will and Menel decide to help her cure the Lord of the Forest, which unfortunately gains the attention of the dragon.

The next episode seems like the one that will include the dragon fight and I’m looking forward to it. We’ve only seen Will go all out a couple of times but when he has it’s been awesome. With Menel, and Ru in tow this might be one of the better fights. Ru has come a long way since he was first introduced, you should have seen my boy. He was killing giant insects like they were nothing in this one, he’s far from the scaredy cat he used to be.
