Warhammer+ Announces 2023 Adult Animation Slate Which Answers Some Questions After Prime Video Deal
When Games Workshop announced earlier this month that it had made a deal with Prime Video to produce content inspired by it’s legendary toy collection, it had me thinking about the future of the company’s streaming service, Warhammer+. Welp, it looks like some of those questions have been answered with a few clips at our disposal that not only showcases the fact that Warhammer+ plans to stay open for 2023, but that new adult animation IS on the way with at least four series on tap.
The first one that seems to be most ready is Pariah Nexus, a 3D CG animated series slated to premiere in 2023 that sees the Necrons lead an all-out assault on the Indomitus Crusades. Also on the way, new episodes of Hammer and Bolter, along with new series Black Talon and Iron Within. All have been teased in the sizzle reel that you can see below along with the full trailer for the upcoming series Pariah Nexus.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
