Our Take
While the animation, pacing of the story remain consistently funny with the typical jokes you’d expect with episodes involving characters on a diet. Most notably highlight of this episode is a Joke where Loafy is indirectly caught lying by his girlfriend Becca (Cecily Strong) which gave me a good laugh as it further excels both Bobby and Cecily’s humor for this particular scene with improvisational finesse. As for the “Behind the scenes” footage at the end of this episode, it points out something I wasn’t even thinking about that Bobby Moynihan says about the show’s music itself which is a surprising treat to notice when you listen closely while rewatching previous episodes.
What also subverted expectations this time is the fact there aren’t two episodes this week but instead, we have one. I can actually see why though since in a recent interview with Moynihan, he stated that he only managed to make 8 episodes so far for this show and It makes sense he’d stretch it out a bit longer after the two-episodes a day format.
I think it would’ve been smarter if they did this one episode a day, but It was still an entertaining episode regardless with a funny twist at the end that doesn’t overstay it’s welcome.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
