Review: Tender Touches 2 “She’s All We Had”

This shit’s as creepy as ever.

Overview (Spoilers Below)

Curtis and Steve’s grandmother dies and leaves a will. Curtis gets some cash while Steve gets an island. Throughout the episode, Cherlene is clearly confused.

Our Take

Yes, Tender Touches kicks off with a hilarious idea for a plot, but the real winner is Bradley Millner’s Charlene who spends most of the episode unsure of what’s going on. I mean, here Charlene is at a funeral and is babbling on about the seafood spread. Then when we get to Steve’s new villa, Charlene just goes off the rails in what I assume was some sort of monologue but I’m not exactly sure and I’m not sure I want to know either. It may even be better to not know.

Kudos to Lauren Payne for forever giving Charlene crooked eyes. There’s just something about that face that screams Child’s Play and it’s almost as insane as the end credits theme song.
