“Battle of the Bands”

Ozpin announces the start of the battle of the bands, featuring Puns and Roses (Ruby, Nora, Blake, Yang, Weiss), the Nep-tunes (Neptune, Sun, Jaune, Ren), and the Trouble-Clefs (Roman, Neo, Emerald, Mercury, the Geist Grimm, a regular Grimm), and DJ Penny (Penny). Roman impatiently asks for them to start, so his team can win. The Trouble-Clefs begin with a metal solo but are cut short when Ruby asks what they’re doing. Turns out, the Battle of the Bands is an actual battle.

The Trouble-Clefs have a lot of trouble, considering none of them brought their weapons. In the middle of the carnage, Ruby thanks everyone for the season.

It’s the end of the season and what better way to end up with a giant follow up. Several shorts have been leading up to the Battle of the Bands, and all of them have featured musical practice one way or another. The fact that it’s an actual free-for-all is a fun pun, but it kind of makes you wonder why everyone was actually practicing in the first place. Wacky and fun, overall a good way to finish of RWBY Chibi.

Also, the Trouble-Clefs did a really good job, I’m kind of sad their performance got cut short.
