Phil LaMarr Is Exquisite In New “Samurai Jack” Trailer

LaMarr is so damn good.

Your very busy voice actors are really only going to have a maybe a handful of roles inscribed on their tombstones when they die. Billy West is going to have Futurama and Ren & Stimpy, for Justin Roiland it will certainly be Rick and Stan Smith, and for Phil LaMarr it’s going to be “Hermes” from Futurama and the titular role of Samurai Jack. 

That’s right, despite the former MadTV castmate’s stellar voice career, I’ll be good God-damned if I’m not at his funeral putting a samurai sword in his coffin before they lay him down. If you want further proof, check out this new trailer for the long-awaited fifth season of Samurai Jack which will premiere on March 11th @ 11 pm ET/PT. Tell me when listening to Phil’s voice as “Jack” you’re not ready to go to war, and I’ll call ya a liar.
