BubbleCAN: ‘South Park’ Coming to CraveTV
Canadian media company Bell has bought the country’s exclusive streaming rights for the entire 18-season South Park catalog.
According to a press release, the show will debut on CraveTV July 1st, and will “be supported by an extensive cross-platform media campaign on Bell Media properties including out-of-home, conventional, and specialty television, and online outlets.”
It appears South Park will no longer air on the Comedy Network, which acts as Comedy Central’s provider to the north.
CraveTV is available to subscribers on Bell, Telus, Eastlink, and other smaller providers, but based on recently-passed legislation, all Canadian Internet users will likely gain access soon.
CraveTV is also available on the Apple TV app.
As always, if anything goes wrong with this deal: blame Canada.
