Ceremony’s New Album Cover Clearly Ripped-Off Kirk Van Houten of ‘The Simpsons’
Most folks that view the new album artwork of punk rock band Ceremony’s latest effort, “The L-Shaped Man,” probably just see a simple sketch. But to the eagle eyes at Vice, they see plagiarism.
Ceremony has ripped off Kirk Van Houten of The Simpsons and his Pictionary illustration.
Not only did the Vice folks catch it, but they also announced their find with an article chock full o’ references. (Seriously, these people know their Simpsons shit.)
The drawing in question came from season eight’s “A Milhouse Divided,” and a quick comparison makes the similarities very clear.
