Evidently, Terry Gilliam didn’t help produce the ‘Monty Python’/’Family Guy’ intro
Last year Family Guy aired an episode called ‘‘Space Cadet” that was very good as it guest starred Brian Williams and is probably best known as the episode that featured ”Bob” from Bob’s Burgers getting his first dig from the show’s producers.
The opening to the episode featured a Monty Python-inspired rendition that was so well done, I for sure was convinced that Terry Gilliam was somehow involved in it. Welp, the legendary director recently took part in a recent Reddit AMA where he came clean on how much influence he had on the parody version featured on Family Guy:
No, Seth was just given permission. I’m a big fan of Family Guy and so they could do whatever they wanted to do.
I think that just goes to show how well Family Guy is produced even after all of these years because I honestly was convinced that Terry had more creative input ala the Simpsons couch gags.
Family Guy is all-new this Sunday Night on FOX @ 8:30 pm EST, check your local listings!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
