Review: Krapopolis “Basket Baby”
Overview
A baby arrives in a basket; Deliria encroaches on Apollo’s turf; Tyrannis throws a potluck.
Our Take
With he no longer king, I am less and less inclined in giving a shit about Tyrannis premises these days and I’m not sure a competitive potluck is going to do it for me but overall this week’s episode of Krapopoilis is pretty strong. The baby come back and any kind of fool can see that the ongoing idea of Shlub being king is slowly starting to bear a lot of fruit that is far more worthy of my attention as is Delira’s weekly run-ins with the gods.
As entertaining as all of this was, I really wanted to see that baby get catapulted because how many times do you get to see babies being catapulted? Had the producers of this week’s episode actually given us that scene I think the socials would’ve really lit up as a result but instead we go the safer route of just letting the baby being raised by wolves.
That last part is important because it’s the premise of the short at the end which is maybe becoming my favorite part of the series because like Rick and Morty sometimes they seem to have ramifications for future episodes but it almost kind of doesn’t matter because they are usually the funniest parts of the episode showcasing the franchise’s more sinister deep-end of the bench that used to man Green Portal Productions.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
