Bubble UK: Yahoo UK says ‘Yes Ma’am’ to a new series

Yahoo Screen Comedy has been doing a rather bad ass job of delivering content here in the States and we’ve been doing our best in reviewing them weekly including shows like Losing It With John Stamos, The Fuzz, and SportsFriends. Welp, it looks like our friends in soggy-London town are getting ready to get some kick-ass content as well.

Enter a new animated series coming to Yahoo UK called Yes Ma’am, a new animated series inspired by a popular Twitter handle that constantly satirizes the Queen of England, and yes the owner of the handle will be writing for the series which is being produced by digital agency Sweetweets and animated by Cutlass Productions.

Already ordered are six 3-minute long animated shorts that will debut on November 15th on Yahoo Screen Comedy UK and then the rest being put up on subsequent Fridays. Also part of the deal is a Chrismas special set to premiere on December 25, tied to the Queen’s annual Christmas speech.

The cast is sounding rather legit, too. Fans of the old-school UK puppet series Spitting Image will be delighted to know that Kate Robbins, who played the Queen in that series,  will be taking the reigns as lead voice with Lewis Macleod and Steve Hope Wynne on board to voice a multitude of famous UK peeps including, but not limited to, Princes William, Henry, and David Cameron.
