NEW DETAILS FOR THE HOME RELEASE OF LEGO NINJAGO: MASTERS OF SPINJITSU “RISE OF THE GREEN NINJA”
TVshowsonDVD.com has the story that Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitsu “Rise of the Green Ninja” is set for a home release on November 27th, 2012 which will feature the last seven episodes of the second season and will retail for about $15. That said it is interesting to note that the entire second season will then be released on DVD and Blu-Ray for an early 2013 release timed to coincide with the series finale for one of Cartoon Network’s biggest shows. No, word yet on the price or specific release date for the full second season, but the Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitsu “Rise of the Green Ninja” DVD is set to release in stores November 27th, 2012.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
