“TED” CLOSING IN ON $300 MILLION WORLDWIDE, EVEN CHALLENGES TDKR OVERSEAS

According to Deadline.com’s Box Office Report, Universal Pictures’ Ted was able to get over the $200 million hump domestically, and as such is right around $280 million worldwide. Interestingly enough, also according to Deadline, Ted was even challenging The Dark Knight Rises in the weekend gross for international and that’s with still a bunch more international markets yet to be opened! Needless to say, Seth MacFarlane is officially a worldwide name to be reckoned with.
