VARIETY REPORTS: THE LIFE AND TIMES OF TIM CANCELLED!
Yea, I apologize if I am farting in your cereal this morning but according to Variety HBO has officially cancelled The Life and Times of Tim after three seasons. After season 2 there were rumors of Executive Producer Steve Dildarian shopping the popular animated series to Adult Swim and Comedy Central and I really hope it does because I thought it was a fantastic and totally underrated show featuring some big names in the business as both regular and guest stars.
Of course everyone knows Steve Dildarian as Tim, Nick Kroll as Stu, and the other cast regulars but there were a LOT of great cameo guest stars like Bob Saget, Marc Maron, Fred Willard, Andrew Daly, Tim Meadows, and a whole lot more. Here’s hoping we get to see Tim again soon, however no word yet as to when season 3 will be released on DVD.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
