This Week In Obituaries: Brother of Eddie Murphy passes; Boondocks/Black Dynamite voice was 57
RIP to an underrated celebrity brother.
Charlie Murphy has died from leukemia at the age of 57. Charlie’s credentials also included co-writing some of Eddie Murphy’s movies, such as Norbit, Vampire in Brooklyn and co-starred in the Ice Cube kids film Are We There Yet?, but his most notable work aside from being a Chappelle’s Show regular was his involvement in animated shows such as The Boondocks as Ed Wuncler III, and when he voiced a talking cat named “Rollo” in the animated series Black Dynamite.
Charlie’s wife, Tisha Taylor Murphy, also passed away in 2009 from cervical cancer. They had two children, and he had another from a previous relationship.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
