Review: Pubertina Season 2
I guess this idea deserves a bit of a preface. ChefRich here on a flight from Philadelphia to Los Angeles to bring you some of the latest and best news the Bubbleblabber can find within walking distance of an In-And-Out Burger. But we’ve got a special guest with us on this flight. Long story short is I’ve got a friend (::audible gasp::) and she needed a bit of help getting her daughter to Sacramento. I was told that she is a big fan of reading and writing so I did a bit of research and realized that there are no Child Labor Laws on the Internet. If we were taking this flight, I was putting her to work. I struggled to really find a show that I found appropriate for an 11 year old to review, let alone even watch. Y’all are really some depraved human beings, which is why #WebsDay has been recording so many hits, but there’s not too much out there for the little ones. I get the fact that most kids still don’t turn to the Internet for their entertainment, but c’mon, get ahead of the game here. We all know that the Internet is very quickly putting broadcast to shame when it comes to the original content dept. Why not get in while the iron is heating up? This is why I’m thankful Pubertina is around. It really sets a bit of a standard for what preteen animation could be. But enough about what I think, that’s what all the other articles are for. Let’s now turn the controls over to TweenBean to see what she thought about a show geared towards her demographic. Bean, you’re up!!!
TweenBean here and I’m gonna give you my report on Pubertina. First of all, I think that the show is pretty funny. I like it because I can relate to it. The show is basically about a girl, Pubertina, and how she is going through puberty. The artwork sorta looks like a sketch of an 11-year-old girl, but she has a very skinny and tall body with a big head. Pubertina has acne and has a 9-year-old best friend, Debs. Geez, I think that the voice of Debs sounds like either Lisa or Marge from The Simpsons. It’s kinda funny actually. The humor is basically just how obsessive Pubertina is about her crushes. Another thing I found funny was that in each episode, there was a funny, random, and pointless song. I actually have a story abut that. I was watching the videos at a friend’s house, and one of the songs go “I love you Andrew I do! I love you Andrew I poo!” my friends brother, named Andrew came in. I had the song stuck in my head so I sang it. When he left he looked at me funny and I realized what happened. #TotalHumiliation. Another thing that was funny was that before each show started, they would say something random and funny, and it would say SHUT UP cartoons because they were the makers of the show. Finally another funny part was that in the theme song, there joking about puberty and it’s a 6 year old holding a Pubertina doll and reading a Pubertina book. I would rate this show PG for some mild language.
Now we’re gonna talk about the scenery and the animation. Usually the only places that they go is school, debs house, and Pubertinas house. Pubertina is always wearing the same exact thing: A pink shirt and jeans. It’s kinda sad actually because all I really want is more clothes and shoes. There were some colors but truthfully, it was like an 8 pack of crayons. The animators didn’t go all out to make it alive and bright and colorful. But luckily I paid more attention to what was going on than what color the bird was. I really enjoyed this show. I hope you do too. On a 1-10 scale, I’d say Pubertina is an

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
