Review: The Simpsons – “How Lisa Got Her Marge Back”
When Lisa overhears Marge telling Homer that she doesn’t like jazz, Lisa is overcome with anger at her mother. For years, Marge has been telling Lisa that she likes jazz music but nothing is farther from the truth. Lisa is devastated when she hears the truth. In order to win back her daughter’s affections, Marge takes her on a trip to Capital City. After watching Bad News Bears: The Musical, the two go out to dinner with the star of the show, Andrew Rannells. Lisa bemoans her situation to the minor celebrity and he points out that she’s been rather ungrateful. Realizing that Rannells is right, Lisa makes up with Marge and things are back to normal.
Bart’s pranks haven’t been hitting their targets lately. Thinking that he’s over the hill, Bart throws out all of his prank junk. While Marge and Lisa are away, Homer leaves Bart in charge of Maggie. Quickly, Bart realizes that he can use Maggie to prank people. He gets a few pranks in before Homer shuts him down. At least they had fun for awhile.
It was nice to see the changing dynamic between Lisa and Marge. Even though no one ages in this universe, the relationship between a mother and a daughter does change over time. While we probably won’t see the changes in their relationship again in the future, it was nice to have it noticed once. I’m sure things will be back to normal next week.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
