Puddle Of Mudd Releases “South Park”-Esque Series Of Videos Featuring A Fake Kurt Cobain
A few years ago Wes Scantlin was probably knocking on death’s door, but it sounds like the Puddle of Mudd frontman has made a positive step forward and these days is having fun making South Park-like videos featuring long-deceased Kurt Cobain.
The purpose of the videos is to help SiriusXM subscribers forget all about Wes’ not-very-good Nirvana cover back in January which, and I’m only guessing here, won’t be the biggest story of the year.
For fans of the “Saddam” character on South Park, the animation production should look familiar.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
