Netflix Orders Adult Animated Series “Agent King” Where Elvis Presley Is A Secret Agent And I’m Already In Love
Netflix has ordered a new adult animated series called Agent King, from Priscilla Presley and John Eddie. Authentic Brands, Sony Pictures Animation and Sony Pictures Television are all producers as is Jerry Schilling. Mike Arnold (Archer) will be the showrunner, writer, and executive producer and Fletcher Moules is a supervising director. John friggin’ Varvatos will detail the wardrobe that Elvis wears.
In Agent King, “Elvis Presley trades in his white jumpsuit for a jet pack when he is covertly inducted into a secret government spy program to help battle the dark forces that threaten the country he loves — all while holding down his day job as the King Of Rock And Roll,”

Wow. I am so in. Just when you thought spies couldn’t get any cooler, they throw in Elvis. This is now one of my most eagerly anticipated series.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
