Duncan Trussell Returns To Joe Rogan And Talks Up The Success Of “The Midnight Gospel”
If you want to understand how Duncan’s creative brilliance may have gotten to this point, there’s a new episode of Tales from the Trip featuring The Midnight Gospel creator talking about how he took so much ketamine he thought time stopped which, if you’ve been following Duncan’s career as long as I have, you know is par for the course.
The success of the show hasn’t been lost on Duncan neither. In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Duncan’s really enjoying this trip. Whether it’s putting together a writer’s room with the likes of Weird Al, Emo Philips, and others or jonesing at the amount of fan art that has been released for the show, Duncan’s becoming increasingly entrenched in his new found, and rightly deserved, success. Synopsis:

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
