The last of Toonami’s original series, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, will be taking a break starting June 6th for Toonami. Producers are claiming COVID-19-related delays that by far have impacted the anime community more than any of the other animation sectors. In this case, the delays are having to do with the English dub production which comes from Super Techno Arts. The real bummer here is that we only had a handful of episodes of this current run of JoJo to get through before we got to the finale, but I guess it wasn’t meant to be.
In any event, Toonami is replacing JoJo with Ballmastrz:9009 starting with season one, episode one this Saturday Night.
New schedule starting June 6th:
12:00AM – My Hero Academia
12:30AM – Paranoia Agent
01:00AM – Mob Psycho
01:30AM – Black Clover
02:00AM – Ballmastrz: 9009
02:30AM – Naruto: Shippuden
Our Take
Syfy is getting ready to launch a bunch of
original animation this Summer, now would be a great time for the network to get some of that cheddar by giving animation viewers bored of reruns the opportunity to catch original programming that might be up their alley. Let’s see how soon the network responds who has become increasingly assertive over Adult Swim’s territory on both Saturday and Sunday nights as of late.

Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
