Celebrate the Return of ‘Community’ with this LEGO Re-boot
At long last, Community will finally return for a sixth season on March 17th. But before the series moves into its new home on Yahoo!, there’s a LEGO tribute to the Greendale gang that just popped up on YouTube.
Courtesy of Eric Stevens – he of the semi-famous, brilliantly-designed Seinfeld and Downton Abbey LEGO parodies – the Community clip is a wonderful remake of a wonderful sitcom.
It wasn’t easy, of course, even compared to the aforementioned other shows.
“Unlike Downton and Seinfeld,” he said in an interview with Popculturology, “the Community cast has some diversity.” In fact, he confessed that he’s still not pleased with the Abed avatar.
When you’re the artist, I suppose you can over-analyze things like this. For the rest of us, it’s near perfection. Just like the show on which it’s based.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
