Blu-Ray Review: Venture Bros. Season 6

Nowadays when a home release advertises a good number of special features, I tend to be less than hopeful as to what the marketing department actually means. So, when I see a Venture Bros. Season 6 Blu-Ray emblazoned with a sticker that says, “60 minutes of special features”, I’m like,” I guarantee it’s like 10 minutes of special features and the rest is garbage.” Boy am I glad I was wrong.

No joke, the home release of Venture Bros. Season Six is PACKED with special features. For starters, we get a ton, and I mean a TON of deleted scenes and animatics for each of the episodes. Also included are full episode commentaries featuring talent from Venture Bros. including Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick, plus a slew of Adult Swim bumpers. All this included provides quite the value, a rarity in home releases of TV series’ anymore.
