Comics Review: Bob’s Burgers #5
Look, after five issues, I just haven’t been THAT overly impressed with the print adaptation of Bob’s Burgers. This month, I kinda enjoyed Tina’s zombie deal, but truth be told I skip over the Gene songs. This is a comic book ladies and gentlemen, if I wanted some Bob’s Burgers songs I’d wait for the album, instead I get Gene. Shit, give me some Bob or Linda plots! The Louise deal felt MOST like an episode of the series, albeit a shorter version. The dialogue was a tad more familiar and it was pretty funny. Unfortunately, this doesn’t save the whole issue.
The Bob’s Burgers writers need to go back to the drawing board to make me a believer out of this initiative, because right now it’s just not working.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
