English Dub Review: New Saga “The Heroic Tale Continues”

Overview:

Kyle’s party concludes their business in Karan, but ominous clouds can be seen on the horizon.

Our Take:

What is with today? I understand a lot of shows tend to end around the same time, but two of them ended badly in my opinion. This show gave us so much sequel bait that I’m pretty annoyed we don’t have a confirmed sequel. It feels like it was intentional, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there will be a second season announcement eventually, but for now, it’s frustrating. Being someone in the west, it’s even more frustrating because a lot of the time the source material isn’t localized, so even if the anime does the job it’s supposed to, there’s no way to continue the story if I’m interested.

There was a part near the end of the episode where Kyle was at a party, and there was a girl who came up and spoke to him. The opening song was playing through the whole party, so we didn’t get to hear the dialogue that was spoken. The whole last half of the episode was confusing to me because we were getting introduced to a bunch of characters that seem like they’ll be very important later, but unless we get a second season, it won’t matter.
