‘The Simpsons’ to pay tribute to Marcia Wallace Sunday Night on FOX

We posted yesterday that FOX was planning on doing an American Dad rerun as a lead-in to an all new The Simpsons on FOX @ 7:30 pm EST. However it looks like in the light of the recent passing of Marcia Wallace aka ‘Edna Krabappel’ FOX is planning a tribute airing of the actress’ Emmy-winning episode ‘Bart the Lover’ which first aired during the third season of The Simpsons.

Ironically enough, the new episode of The Simpsons airing directly after is entitled ‘4 Regrettings and a Funeral’ and it will conclude with a tribute card from the producers honoring Wallace.

The Simpsons are all new on FOX Sunday Night @ 8pm EST, check your local listings. Also, check out preview pics, a first look at guest star Rachel Maddow, as well as the opening couch gag inspired by The Hobbit.
