Our Take

Picking up from the previous episode, tensions within Karamazov finally boil over as Michica and Kache’s friendship reaches a breaking point. Struggling under the pressure of internet fame and her own insecurities, Michica spirals until those around her step in to help, leading to an emotional heart-to-heart between the two. Meanwhile, Purple Lollipop reflects on Ame’s ideals of happiness, while anticipation continues to build for the long-awaited showdown between Karamazov and KAngel.

This was easily one of the strongest episodes so far. The character drama finally feels like it’s paying off, with Michica’s emotional breakdown and her conflict with Kache delivering some of the series’ most compelling moments. The episode also balances its heavier themes with creative visual direction, humor, and a stronger sense of momentum, even if some of the show’s philosophical dialogue and repeated commentary on internet culture can still feel a bit overdone.

Overall, this serves as an effective setup for what’s to come, with the story finally shifting into higher gear after a slower stretch. While some of its themes remain a little repetitive, the stronger emotional beats, stylish presentation, and growing anticipation for the next major conflict make this one of the season’s more engaging episodes without giving too much away.
