English Dub Review: Tougen Anki “The Voice of the Weak”
Overview:
Mikado meets Shiki and reveals who he is, but Shiki doesn’t know why he knows his name or what he’s plotting.
Our Take(Spoilers):
Momoiwa has finally played his hand, and it might be worse than I thought. He convinced the gang member leader to set the building that all of his friends were in on fire. He did all of this so that Mikado could catch Shiki at the scene and let nature take its course from there. The gang member was willing to do this because Momoiwa promised to get him a lot of money and set him up somewhere overseas. But as you might have guessed, he kills this guy to tie up any loose ends.
The way he killed the guy was baffling to me, as we know he can see what others see if he has infected them with his bacteria. He can also make them see what he sees. He did that to this guy while he was driving, which led him to wreck his car and die. My main complaint is how he knew this would work? If I were driving and felt my vision was becoming so impaired that I might wreck, I would slow down and pull over. That made no sense to me, but hey, Momoiwa got the job done, I guess.
