‘Arcane,’ ‘Love, Death + Robots’ Dominate Creative Arts Emmy Awards for Animation
The winners of the 77th Emmy Awards in juried categories have been announced, with “Arcane” and “Love, Death + Robots” leading the charge in the animation categories. The awards will be presented at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on September 6 and 7 at the Peacock Theater, with an edited version airing on FXX on September 13.
The popular series “Arcane” was recognized for its artistic achievements, earning awards for Background Design (Bruno Couchinho) and Color (Faustine Dumontier). “Love, Death + Robots” received even more accolades, taking home awards for Character Animation (Daryl Graham), Character Design (Robert Valley), Production Design (Gigi Cavenago), and Storyboard (Edgar Martins).
Other notable winners included “Octopus!” for Outstanding Motion Design and “White Rabbit” for Outstanding Innovation in Emerging Media Programming.
