Bob’s Burgers to Celebrate 300th Episode with Flashback to the Beginning

The hit animated series Bob’s Burgers is set to celebrate its 300th episode by taking fans back in time to the restaurant’s humble beginnings. The milestone episode will use a series of flashbacks to show what life was like for Bob and Linda when they first opened their restaurant.

The episode’s plot centers on Bob in the present day, who is stressed about the possibility of raising prices. This triggers flashbacks to the past, where a young Bob is seen poorly handling the stress of the new business, even vomiting in the kitchen, while Linda is in the late stages of pregnancy.

In addition to the 300th episode, the show has announced new holiday specials. A Halloween episode will feature Teddy taking a job at a mysterious cult store next to the restaurant, with a guest appearance from Jamie Demetriou of Fleabag. A new Christmas episode will be set in a festive Christmas village, and a separate storyline will see Gail planning to get married for her art, with the request for Teddy to officiate the ceremony.

Bob’s Burgers returns with two brand-new episodes back-to-back Thursday, July 31st only on FOX starting at 8 pm ET/PT, check your local listings.

Synopsis:

Emmy Award-winning Bob’s Burgers returns for its 15th season. The series centers on the working-class Belcher family — parents Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) and Linda (John Roberts) and their three children, Tina (Dan Mintz), Gene (Eugene Mirman), and Louise (Kristen Schaal) — who run a seaside New Jersey hamburger restaurant and their adventures interacting with the eccentric members of their community. This season, Bob must face his fears and join Louise in a father-daughter boogie boarding competition; Tina becomes the columnist for the anonymous “Ask an Eighth Grader” advice column; and when the Belchers’ landlord, Mr. Fischoeder, offers them two months free rent in exchange for catering an important reception at his house, the family must do everything they can to ensure the event goes perfectly.

Nora Smith, Dan Fybel, Rich Rinaldi, Greg Thompson, Jon Schroeder, Steven Davis, Scott Jacobson, Holly Schlesinger, Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin also serve as executive producers.
