Our Take(Spoilers):
I’m starting to get a little disappointed in myself lately. I like to think that I’m pretty media smart and can understand stuff well. But for whatever reason, I’ve been feeling lost with a few of the shows I’ve been reviewing. I love political thrillers, and this show has certainly become one of those, but I was having a hard time wrapping my head around who was betraying whom and so forth. Once I wrap my head around everything, I’m sure I’ll love it, but I just need some time to figure it out. What I don’t need time to figure out is that the Shi clan essentially doesn’t exist anymore.
Shishou, Shisui, and Suirei would all technically be antagonists of this arc, but to me, they don’t feel like it. To me, it seems like they are all victims of unfortunate circumstances and a woman’s pride and ambition. Now, the only survivor of that woman’s misplaced greed and envy is Suirei. I had hoped that Shisui would make it out alive, but it wasn’t meant to be. If you don’t shed a tear watching her last dance, then you don’t have a heart. Reminds me of the first few episodes that hooked me.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
