English Dub Review: Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You. “How to Be Together Forever”

Overview:

As the fireworks are set off, Mizuho rushes to look for Kizuki. At the pool, she runs into…?

Our Take:

I’m starting to feel like Charlie in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia the scene where he’s trying to connect all the dots. Mizuho seemingly likes Kizuki now, and of course, he likes her. Airu if I had to guess is also in love with Kizuki and we know that Shin likes Mizuho as well. I was hoping that at least Shuugo wouldn’t be involved but now we’ve seen he’s harboring a crush for Mizuho as well.

My theory about Kizuki getting COVID and passing away is starting to feel more possible because a falling because she didn’t reciprocate his feelings is looking less likely. She’s into him at the moment at least and I can think of a few things that would keep me single well into adulthood like my childhood friend/lover dying. Admittedly we don’t know if that’s the case with Mizuho but I would have expected Shin to make a move sometime in the last ten years if that was what happened.

I was slightly annoyed with Airu in this episode. He took Mizuho shopping and he’s something of a social media celebrity. Some girls saw him with Mizuho and started talking shit about her and instead of standing up to them, he told them she was his girlfriend and to keep it a secret, lame.
