English Dub Review: Ningen Fushin: Adventurers Who Don’t Believe in Humanity Will Save the World “Gambling Lesson”

Overview:

Tiana, Nick, and Kizuna decide to spend some time at a casino. Tiana takes advantage of poor poker players and Nick just tries to keep Kizuna out of trouble. Everything is going fine until Leon decides to come and spoil the party.

Our Take:

If this anime keeps this up it’s going to be hard not to enjoy. I wondered if Kizuna’s sword ability would make it so that anyone could combine or just Curran and Nick. Now I don’t know if anyone can but we at least know Nick and others have the ability to combine. This time he combined with Tiana and it was fantastic. I have been playing Fire Emblem: Engage and it has a similar game mechanic that I think is really awesome.

Anyways, for a group of adventurers who “don’t care about anyone or each other at all” they sure go out of their way to help one another. I’m a huge fan of “found families” and think that is what we have going on here. As you all know by now if the characters are good then the plot doesn’t have to do as much heavy lifting for me. So far the characters here are a lot of fun and are showing some signs of growth.
